The only thing between them and this absolute wrecking was one man, regarded as the respected peacekeeper, and his kingdom. However, the peacekeeper has been brutally obliterated. Now the world is in the hands of the mere one survivor of his kingdom, a teenage girl, Yuzi. Do read this intriguing tale to find out the hardships she faces, the lessons she learns, and most importantly, does she win, and if so, how? And here's my first ever individual author interview with a well-known blogger in Australia Ms. Rashi,

Also, please find below the links to the reviews of my book, those 5 stars mean the world to me, thanks a lot.

This is what an eminent blogger and book reviewer Suchita wrote:

"What I loved about the ebook was how the action keeps moving. There are twists at every juncture and just when you feel that Yuzi is safe, a trap is sprung. Even though Yuzi has the all-powerful Orbus Maximus in her possession, things do not come easy to her. She has to fight through her insecurities, fears and grief to reach where she does in the end. Of all the characters in the ebook, hers is the most fleshed out. You believe in her quest and want to see her succeed.

The world building was quite extraordinary as well. There are little details like:

You could think of any book, want to eat any food, it would be there. The room was a miniature world – with everything one could need.

Arsh has done a commendable job in researching battle strategies and weapons. At one point, I had to take a pause to Google katanas when Yuzi and Tera were selecting weapons of their choice after they passed the first stage of their training....

AQI Levels Soar In The National Capital: How to Stay Safe

(Written for my School Magazine Issue)

As most of us are aware, Delhi is currently enveloped by a thick, life-taking blanket of smog, slowly consuming the lives and future of millions of its residents. Children and the elderly are often the worst victims – for their immune system is not at its maximum potential.

An AQI of over 300 can lead to both short-term and long-term ailments such as bronchitis leading to cough and the effects range to something as fatal as lung cancer.

As decided by the government, shutting down construction, diesel vehicles and primary educational institutes is not the long-term solution; eventually the problem must be tackled by its root cause. However, nothing improves in one day. The idea of sustainable development which is spreading like wildfire is not a magic wand – it requires tremendous discipline and a lot of permanent efforts – only then we will be able bring down the pollution gradually.

But as an immediate action our first and foremost priority should be keeping ourselves safe during this time period of very poor-hazardous AQI (estimated to last till mid-February).

I am listing a few steps all of us must take to keep ourselves as well as our families in safety.

1) Wear N95 masks
An N95 Respirator offers the best protection – from the Coronavirus as well as pollution. They are designed to attract and intercept airborne particles and their shape provides a comfortable facial fit which at the same time forms a seal for maximum efficiency. They filter out all contaminants like dusts, mists and fumes.

2) Avoid Staying Outdoors
The pollution has the deadliest impact when we are present outdoors – for the walls of buildings stop the PM 2.5 particles to a major extent. We must try to spend most of our time in the safety of our houses- several of which I am assuming have air purifiers, and thus a comparatively cleaner air.

3) Avoid Physical Exercise
It is proven that exercising can push pollution particles deeper into the lungs making the effects even worse. However, physical fitness is also necessary. Try exercising away from traffic – ex. In a park, or in your house near an air purifier and during morning or late evening since vehicle traffic is the least then – says Traffic Control Department.

4) Limit Outdoor Trips
Though most malls are equipped with HEPA filters to ensure safety, the passage to them isn’t. Try to ensure to wear N-95/KN-95 Respirators during all commute – even while going and returning from school. Trust me, it is really difficult but it will undoubtedly be of aid for the long run. Try to cut down on entertainment like malls, replace them by watching something on OTT instead.

These were my two cents on maintaining your safety, and I really hope these help you and I am convincing enough to make you follow them.

My favourite Festivity of the Year- Diwali Beyond All doubt

I love the myriad Indian festivals which always give us a region to rejoice and break free from the shackles of otherwise a mundane routine.

Talking of festivals, it undoubtedly tops my list and the reasons are umpteen. It is the Festival of Lights that marks the advent of winter season yet another favourite of mine. The Diyas, the sweets, the Gettogethers and family reunion, I practically love everything about this precious 5 day festival.

Diwali, commonly regarded as the most significant Hindu festival is celebrated every year in the Karthik month as per the Hindi Calendar. It marks the returning of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after a course of 14 years of ‘Vanvass’. The magnanimous celebrations commence with Dhanteras, followed by Choti Diwali, then of course the grand Diwali, shortly succeeded by Govardhan Pooja and the last day of the festivity is Bhai-Dooj which marks an end of the celebrations. Every day has its own traditions and I indeed love to offer various prayers with my family. I also love dressing up in ethnics for the same.

Another thing that makes me proud is the fact that over the years I have witnessed that Diwali is now being celebrated by most people no matter what religion, caste, colour or creed and the lesson of the victory of good over evil and knowledge over ignorance is spreading far and wide. Isn’t it absolutely amazing?

Another indispensable part of Diwali celebrations is decoration of the house. There’s no house which lacks decoration and the shopping for the decor start weeks in prior. On the day of Diwali the whole city looks spectacular – adorned in mesmerising designs of colourful lights. The earthen lamps or ‘diyas’ are lit and kept outside every house. The glow of them is believed to illuminate the light of knowledge, wealth and prosperity into our lives.

The smell of delicious food is in the air and undoubtedly, the delicacies are truly mouth watering. Sweets like malpua and gulab jamun prepared by my mom and dad add to the giggles in our truly foodie family. Laughs of delight echo in everyone’s ears, happiness is in the air all day round.

For my family, Diwali holds special significance for another reason as this is the one festival where the whole extended family gets a chance to get together at one place from across different parts of the world. I am a single child and thus fancy talking to my cousins – it gives me a chance to explore their world which is so different from mine. We talk, we celebrate, and of course we play cards every night– the part most of us wait for throughout the days. Exchange of gifts takes place as we soak in the true spirit of the divine festival. Thus, my favourite festivity has to be Diwali with no second thought and now you know the reasons why.

Lisa make a call to nasa right now

"Lisa make a call to nasa right now"said the old scientist Coldshatter. "We need to talk to them about this special stone."
"Fine Ginny maam, we will be on screen with NASA in a bit of seconds. Now the head of NASA, ----Perry rumens was on line. The scientist, accompanied by his assistant started to explain nasa about the stone their special secret radar waves had found. As per the detector, that was an very rare element which never existed on any other planet accept for the rarest one, Pluto.

Then she started convincing NASA to send a special force there and try their best to get that element. But --------- Kept refusing as they could not afford to risk these many astronauts. Ginny sighed and told the head about the benefits of the stone which were...

She told that the stone was a rare stone of  power  which could power the whole planet for years and they didn't need any fuel like petroleum or other things. Every car would run on the power of that stone. But how did she know this. Did she examine it or was she just joking. Unfortunately this thought didn't strike ------- at the moment and she was ready to send the astronauts

Then came the astronaut John Mardsburg with his brave team. They called themselves the brave explorers because they usually got missions of exploring and always did their job with full bravery and power. They got ready for the mission but it was not that easy. MR Prosma Burt, the co head of the company. he was not at all convinced with this idea. He had a big doubt on Ginny, so the team didn't get the approval to launch on their mission. He always doubted Ginny and he was going in the pretty right direction.

The truth was that Coldshatter only and only wanted to put that rare element in his special detector which told him the power and the huge benefits of stones. He used to get all the facts and codes he required and he said he cold make a machine which actually uses the power in his way.

Book Review of Shrav vs Sana by Suhasini

Last year and a quarter, I would say has been tough for everyone particularly us kids. As a single child I have faced the brunt really hard. Nevertheless, I have kept myself soaked in books and am so happy always to be in their company.

While I am almost always a fantasy fiction lover but this time I read something very different which was a sheer delight to read. It’s a short cute book called Shrav Vs Sana. It really was fun reading it and I could relate to so many aspects. It brought a smile on my face many times.

About the book

Shrav vs Sana is a series of stories between two kids - Shrav and Sana. Both of them are different in nature but are good friends. Both of them keep fighting with each other, learning from each other, and can't stay without each other. Welcome to the world of Shrav and Sana to understand how they spend time with each other and what pranks both of them are upto. This book contains five short stories about Shrav and Sana and their small fights. Check out the book to see who will be winning these fights.

About the Author

Shravmusings is the pen name of the Mother and Son duo. Suhasini (the mother) has teamed up with her son (Shravanth) to capture the amazing journey of Shravanth through his childhood on their blog Shravmusings.  Mommy, Suhasini, is a trained Kids Life Coach and a Mental Health blogger. She blogs about her Parenting approach, her discoveries on Kids Mental Health, and the books she reads at MommyShravmusings.

No. of Pages: 27

My take on the book

Shrav is a cricket-freak thoughtful boy and Sana is her six year old hyper-active yet very talented kid who meet a lot to play together as their moms are cousins.

I so loved the concept of this book which is helping one kid overcome his weaknesses most tenderly with the help of a little push from the other. There are five chapters with five strong messages for the kids to learn from them while enjoying the read.

It made me realise how we kids easily learn in the company of another kid. The way Shrav overcame his discomfort and panic in hearing loud sounds with the help of little Sana who craftfully finds a solution to his problem was undoubtedly and adorable read.

The other four mini tales were equally tantalising and I would have loved if the book had thirty odd chapters at least. Expect the  author to pen them soon, will so love to soak myself in them.

Language and Narration

The language and narration in the book is age-appropriate. Anyone including a child can pick this book and devour its content enjoying it to its full.

For me a high point on the book were the names of the chapters which are funnily yet meaningfully based on some genuine deep thinking.

The book was a beautiful treat for the readers and left me wanting for more. I recommend it to everyone for a quick heart-warming read.

A Sizzling New Tale of Magic and Friendship Fresh From The Pen #Chapter1

“No!”, yelled Resten as one of the figures snatched his friend Justin and flew into the void…

It was Monday morning. Resten, Stain and Justin, 13 year olds, ordinarily came to their school, Brendenson International. Only that it wasn’t international, it had one school with about 24 kids in it. But that did make sense, because ultimately it wasn’t an ordinary school. It was a magical one. The parents were completely in the dark about this aspect of the school. The skeletons in the biology lab could walk, balls for sports were animals, like pigs. Many times they had fled the sports courts. Potions of strength and invisibility were made in the chemistry lab. In the physics lab they broke all laws of physics. History lessons were about magic used by batches of students preceding them. Turned out they were great wizards. They were taught every language in the world, 1 language in a few classes.

But why? Headmaster Kirl (he wasn’t a girl) had said they would know in due time. So they kept studying and working. They didn’t have wands, but they had to concentrate to use their powers. Resten, Stain, And Justin had become friends their very first day of the school, and always helped each other out, not leaving each others side no matter what. But then, one fine day, something truly miserable happened. First there was darkness in broad daylight, then a mist, and scary, dangerous, jet black, vampire-like creatures flew out of it and started grabbing students, taking them into the void of the mist. Everybody,s hearts skipped a beat. A few beats maybe. Resten and Stain were quick enough to use a charm of light, but unfortunately Justin wasn’t..he was the panicking sort so he couldn’t focus.

Till then the headmaster and staff produced a spell of infinite light, and in one flash, it was all gone..just like that. All the students, specially Resten and Stain were left in pure misery. When students started recovering from their trauma, the headmaster began his address to the students.

My dear students of Brendenson International, we have faced a crisis today. Hellils, the creatures you saw attacked our school and took one of our dear students, Mr. Justin. Now, before due time, you must be told why we were teaching you this. You all have powers, right from the beginning. We need to polish them so you can protect humanity and the planet.

Now the reason our planet is in danger is of Avelinin, the strongest criminal of the galaxy. These were his forces. He is targeting our school, because we hold something he desperately wants, the helmet of Yoshida. What happened was, once, only sometime after Earth was born, there were two objects of high power revolving round it. The points where rays of their power collided formed black holes. If they would collide, there would be a mass of nothingness, that would swallow everything. Yoshida, Savior of the Galaxy, held them apart. He was vaporized by their powers, but the objects were stopped in their places, not colliding. And his helmet was secured in a place, where we were born and this school was made. That helmet is safeguarded by us. If it falls into the wrong hands, those two objects will collide, destroying everything.

It is said that Avelinin had 12 forces. One of them we have encountered. You must spend all your time learning advanced magic from your teachers now. I recommend to do research and present to us anything you can find on the following topic.

Avelinin has discovered that we are in possession of it, and will not give at anything to steal it from us. Now, we must use all our powers to safeguard it from him. It will not be easy, but we shall not panic.

A time charm has been put up for your parents, so they don’t worry about you, and you must spend all your time here. This will indeed be a test for even us, the staff..

By now everybody was worried and were panicking. It took an hour to calm them, with the medics special potions. Resten and Stain really desired to get their friend back, which would be done by destroying Avelinin. But how? Everybody was to learn that in the coming weeks..

The headmaster’s words pondered in Resten’s head most of the time. He was worried sick, and the thought of a master criminal ran a chill down his spine. His friend wasn’t much better. But they were the best spellcasters of the batch, so they had a huge responsibility. They knew they had to fight, for the galaxy, for Justin..

To Be Continued…
